It is great to see that we have 34 members playing with 2 guests (one soon to be a potential member)

We will be playing for the following on Sunday
1. Masters – Winner will be best Nett Stroke score (stroke minus handicap)
2. A Grade – Winner & A – Grade Runner Up
3. B Grade – Winner & B – Grade Runner Up
4. Top 8 Nett Stroke scores will qualify for Singles match play. Singles match play will run over the next 3 games being CAPE SCHANCK 07/06, ROSEBUD CC 21/06 and the final at FLINDERS 19/07.

I will post all results on team app Sunday night and the masters qualifiers will have until Sunday the 24th to confirm they can make the next three games. I would encourage the 8 next best scores to also confirm as they will become reserves for anyone who cant make it.

There will be no NTP or LD as Gardiners run have advised this does not comply with their COVID-19 policies.

We have 3 additional carts booked for the club, if you need one please write in the comments below. (Note: John Rosa I know you have booked one direct so no need to reply)

I will have all score cards ready for you on the day and will ensure I have fully sanitised my hands before handling them ;).

I will have pin placements sheets printed for each player and will provide them on the day

Please let me know if the allocated member to enter scores in gamebook is having issues downloading or logging onto game book

I will be around to see each group prior to tee off and can answer any questions you may have.

SCORING: Players and markers do not need to swap cards. Players mark their own card by entering their score as player and enter their markers score as marker. Verbal confirmation of scores by player and marker is required throughout, and at the completion of the hole / round. Only the player is required to sign their card before returning it to Massimo who will greet all players at the end of the round.

Remember it is stroke play so all you need to do is mark how many shots it takes from tee to getting in the hole 1 or 20 just enter the score.
At the end add up your score and deduct your handicap and that’s your nett score for the day.

Those entering it into Gamebook you only put in the stroke score and the app will do the rest.

Please ensure you are at the game at least 20min prior to your tee off time.

BUNKERS
When a player’s ball lies in a bunker, the player may take free relief once by placing the ball in and playing it from
this relief area:
• Reference Point: Spot of original ball
• Size of Relief Area: One open card length from the reference point
• Limits: Not nearer the hole & must be in the bunker
